The tummy grows, the hands are numb and the aches continue as my beloved puts on a smile through it all. Surrender has become part of who we are… Surrendering to circumstances, a little scare like a cervical polyp coming out on its own and this resulting in a ridiculous hospital bill. At times this has knocked us both on our butts, only to realize the silliness of it all, as we look into each others eyes and feel the love for each other and the excitement of our little angel arriving any moment now. Everything just fades away and all is left is love and acceptance, complete acceptance of what is… which now gives us the freedom to act from a place of wisdom and integrity and not from a place of fear, doubt or reactiveness.
A very special fabric of love, grace and serenity is being formed as each day passes and the days get closer for the new arrival. The sense of our sacred space, here in our home where our angel will arrive into this beautiful human experience is becoming more and more ready.
As we celebrate the life of those departing and those that have departed, the new marriages and the new births we are in awe of the delicate balance of it all. Tomorrow is promise to no one and yet here we are planning our next 70 years together. Always knowing that Spirit has the last word and can veto or change any of our plans at any time if necessary. Yet there is a confidence in this force we call Spirit as we look back at our history and see how all that we have done and encounter has taken us to this delightful place.
Today, i am grateful for our Ohana that has become so palpable… All we can say is Mahalo Nui Loa for this web of grace, peace, love and support that is being wrapped our home and lives.
Mahalo for listening and for your continual support and love.
